A lot of red, white and blue in gardens this year. I wonder if we are getting more patriotic? I love the combo as it really has a lot of pop. Black and Blue is a favorite flower of mine and the critters love it. I did not plant any this year because I am away so much of the summer. No veggies this year either.
Thank you! It would have been much more patriotic had they been situated next to each other as opposed to spread around the yard, but in this heat, I'll take what blooms I can get!
The blooms are: 'Empress of India' Nasturtium (okay, so not as patriotic, but a nod to Mr. Red House's heritage), Incrediball Hydrangea, and 'Black and Blue' Salvia.
Indie, Happy July 4th! I hope you've nice holiday. I love your daylily.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a fabulous Fourth! Your photos are beautiful.
