Thanks for the daffodil Indie. I am moving to a zone 8 later this year. The parks department there teamed up with the girl guides to plant swathes of daffodils on city owned land. I am really looking forward to Spring in my new location. I shall probably go a bit giddy.
I have yellow blobs all over my garden, puts a smile on my face every time I go outside :-) Daffodils and crocuses are the start of the new year, the gardening year. Yippee!
Daffodils are such cheerful flowers! We just got back from traveling, and I had the wonderful surprise of arriving home to dozens of daffodils in bloom. And fragrant ones at that! Spring is starting..
good stuff. My house will be lit up soon but they haven't opened yet here ;)
